Gordon B. Hinckley said, "My plea is that we stop seeking out the storms and enjoy more fully the sunlight. I am suggesting that as we go through life, we accentuate the positive." This year we hope to focus more on the positive blessings in our life. Hopefully, this blog is a source of optimism for us now and in the future.

Coney Island

Now that Summer is nearly over, we finally got a chance to hit the beach. Jonathon took the day off from work, and we headed down to Coney Island. We had an amazing time. The weather was perfect (80 degrees, sunny, clear skies), the boardwalk and beach were surprisingly empty, and the kids had a great time playing in (and eating) the sand. What a great way to end another Summer in New York.
