Gordon B. Hinckley said, "My plea is that we stop seeking out the storms and enjoy more fully the sunlight. I am suggesting that as we go through life, we accentuate the positive." This year we hope to focus more on the positive blessings in our life. Hopefully, this blog is a source of optimism for us now and in the future.

Christmas Eve Nativity

We spent Christmas Eve at Mom and Dad H's house. Crista's birthday is also on Christmas Eve, so we got to celebrate her, and then act out the Nativity. The kids got to choose what part they wanted to be. Christian and Andrew both claimed shepherds immediately, and it was decided that Hyrum and his two little cousins would be the 3 wisemen. The other two littles ended up being sick and tired, so Hyrum was the lone wiseman. Leah really wanted to be Mary, so Nathan agreed to be Joseph, and Gracie was set on being a donkey. Dad H. read Luke 2, and the kids acted it out. It was very sweet and will be a good memory for the kids.
