Gordon B. Hinckley said, "My plea is that we stop seeking out the storms and enjoy more fully the sunlight. I am suggesting that as we go through life, we accentuate the positive." This year we hope to focus more on the positive blessings in our life. Hopefully, this blog is a source of optimism for us now and in the future.

Cheering on the Cougs!

It has been so fun to be back in Utah because now we have the opportunity to go to BYU football games. During college, we went to every game, but nowadays, we try to make it to at least one each season. Our game this year was BYU vs Virginia. We dropped off the boys with Jonathon's parents, who were nice enough to watch them for us. Another huge perk of having family in Provo, was that Jonathon's dad dropped us off right by the stadium, and we didn't have to fight traffic or find parking. It was pretty slick. Jonathon and I went with some friends, the Driggs, that had never been to a football game before, so we got to help explain it to them. It was exciting because we got to sit in the west bleachers for the first time ever. We were high up in the stadium, but that didn't matter. The game was during the afternoon, so the sun was pretty hot. Luckily, by halftime, we were in the shade. The game was a really great one. BYU played really well and our quarterback, Taysom Hill, was awesome! In the end, we won 41-33 and had a great time. Go Cougars!
