Gordon B. Hinckley said, "My plea is that we stop seeking out the storms and enjoy more fully the sunlight. I am suggesting that as we go through life, we accentuate the positive." This year we hope to focus more on the positive blessings in our life. Hopefully, this blog is a source of optimism for us now and in the future.

April Happenings

Easter
*The boys made quite a haul off the Easter eggs that Grandma C left for them. They loved finding money and candy inside. Andrew made $2.50 and Christian found $0.04. Luckily, Andrew loved to share his money and Christian loved to share his candy, so everyone came out even. Thanks Grandma!

Pinewood Derby
*This was an Elder's Quorum Pinewood Derby, so the competition was fierce! Jonathon made a car with an extension that was spring-loaded (uh, rubber band loaded) and activated upon starting. The extra 4 inches actually helped him win one of his close races. He finished 5th place overall.

Beautiful Hammock Weather
*The boys are peeking out from their cozy Sunday napping place. It is 80 degrees and lovely!

Bow Ties
*It must be wedding season because I am making bow ties again... We can't wait to party with Daniel and Claire next weekend!
