Gordon B. Hinckley said, "My plea is that we stop seeking out the storms and enjoy more fully the sunlight. I am suggesting that as we go through life, we accentuate the positive." This year we hope to focus more on the positive blessings in our life. Hopefully, this blog is a source of optimism for us now and in the future.

Central Park Zoo

A few weeks ago, we went to the Central Park Zoo with our good friends Jess, Noah, and Gabe. They were our very first friends when we moved here, and this trip only confirmed how much we are going to miss them. The boys had the best time! They loved the sea lion show, the penguins, and the polar bears. They also could have spent all day running through the tunnels and climbing in the eggs at the Children's Zoo. What a splendid way to spend one of our last free days in New York City.

The Sea Lion Show... We had a front row view.

Noah and Christian walking through the zoo
They became friends the first Sunday we were in NYC when they were both terrorizing the Relief Society meeting.

The polar bears were a big hit.

All 4 kids in the giant egg!

This zoo trip was so much fun - so glad we did it! I'm going to try to find the pic of noah and christian as babies at the zoo and post it next to the one I got of andrew and gabe!
