Gordon B. Hinckley said, "My plea is that we stop seeking out the storms and enjoy more fully the sunlight. I am suggesting that as we go through life, we accentuate the positive." This year we hope to focus more on the positive blessings in our life. Hopefully, this blog is a source of optimism for us now and in the future.

Fishing in the Snake River

While we were in Idaho, we got the chance to go fishing twice. Christian had never been before, so it was really exciting for him. He loved holding and watching the pole, but he was really nervous when we actually caught a fish. Jonathon (who when I married him had never caught a fish) won the prize for the biggest fish.

Practicing with Uncle Joe in the garage. Thanks Grandpa for the special fishing pole!

For a California boy, that's not a bad catch! It looks like you guys had a great visit to Idaho. The s'more picture of Christian is the best!
