Gordon B. Hinckley said, "My plea is that we stop seeking out the storms and enjoy more fully the sunlight. I am suggesting that as we go through life, we accentuate the positive." This year we hope to focus more on the positive blessings in our life. Hopefully, this blog is a source of optimism for us now and in the future.

Moving on Up

I hate Moving... yet, we are doing it again.  In the 4 years that Jonathon and I have been married we have now moved five times (possibly six--depending on what you count).  Our journeyings have been pretty impressive too--4 different states in those six moves.  Here are our travels thus far...

Provo, UT--3 months
Provo, UT--1 year
Nampa, ID--1 month (there is debate if this counts since we were living with my parents :)
Aurora, CO--2 years
New York, NY--1 year
New York, NY--current

Tomorrow is the big day, so we will see how it all goes.  We are leaving the "hood" and going even more uptown.  Oh, and so you know... In New York, Uptown is not an indication of class or ritziness, but merely of geographic location.  That means that we will now be in the northernmost part of Manhattan.  Right now, the house is a complete disaster, boxes are covering the floor, and we are far from finished.  Fortunately, it is time for bed and we can start again tomorrow.

Oh I'm sorry! Moving is the pits- but you should be getting pretty good at it by now! Why are you guys moving? Thanks for the update!
