Merry Christmas!

2018 has been an amazing, busy, crazy, trying, blessed year! Our family has been through many ups and downs, but we are so grateful for the lessons we have learned and the wonderful opportunity we have to experience this life together. 

We want to wish a very Merry Christmas to all our family and loved ones! You have filled our lives with happiness, support, and love. Thank you to each of you who has touched our lives in any way, big or small. Here is a brief 2018 rundown on each member of our family, complete with some fun pictures and videos.

Favorite Moments: Seeing sharks at the Monterey Bay Aquarium, Getting a new bedroom, Slip and Slide in Idaho, Riding the trolley in San Fransisco

Biggest Accomplishments: Learning to Read, Graduating from Preschool, Being Student of the Week in Kindergarten

Biggest Struggles: Learning to Read, Talking too much, dental surgery :(

Obsessions: Dabbing (even at preschool graduation... aye aye aye), Legend of Zelda, Baby Shark, Easy Mac, Using the new Echo Dot to play songs

Biggest Accomplishments: Winning Grand Champion in the Regional STEM Fair (2 years in a row!), Earning his Masters degree in University of Learning, Earning his 1st class Scout rank

Biggest Struggles: 6th grade bullies, Learning to dive during swimming lessons, Adjusting to Middle School

Obsessions: Legend of Zelda, Wow Butter, Magic: The Gathering, FableHaven books

Favorite Moments: VIP tickets for a BYU football game (50 yard line and included meal and snacks), Mom's Surprise Retirement Party, Sturgeon fishing, Going to weddings for three of our siblings (Ben, Crista, and Amanda), Being officially declared cancer-free after 5 years!

Biggest Accomplishments: Finished writing another book (my aunt's personal history), Another successful Primary Program

Biggest Struggles: Balancing time between church calling, blogging job, exercising, and being a good mom

Obsessions: Watching reruns of the Amazing Race while at the gym, Sugar-free jello, Listening to Harry Potter audiobooks, Amazon Prime

Favorite Moments: Learning how to make cheese, California vacation with the family, Touring Alcatraz

Biggest Accomplishments: Started his own company (Pioneer Biolabs), 

Biggest Struggles: Kidney stones, kidney stones, kidney stones! (He had lithotripsy and had to pass nearly 100 stones over 3 months), Balancing Bishopric, teaching, research, and neighborhood chair responsibilities 

Obsessions: Minute Physics videos on YouTube, Working on his electronics projects, new 3D printer
